"This is a clean, comfortable, friendly, well run operation. Interesting, too - lots of history here. It's got everything you need to home base out of, just bring your groceries and luggage. We stayed 3 nights, would have been happy to stay a week or more and see more of the Chiricahuas."

Chiricahua Bird/Sky Cabin By Cave Creek Canyon

10/10 Excellent
"It is SO difficult to write this review because there are only so many superlatives available. These are the things that stood out to us:1)The location.a.There is SO much to see and do nearby. Easy to find off a main road, but very little noise. The dark night sky is indescribable.2)The unmatched view.a.Windows, windows, windows! We found ourselves just looking at the landscape to the west and other cabin surroundings. If we did nothing else, this was worth the stay.3)The careful attention to detail.a.Lovely furnishings, making the most of small spacesb.Necessities were anticipated and easily locatedc.Upscale coffee providedd.Helpful labels on electricale.Extraordinarily quiet and effective HVACf.Very comfortable bedg.Premium showerh.Clearly written house informationi. We were surprised by the barbecue. What a nice option.4)The screened porch with fireplace.a.It was mid-summer when we visited, and we were sad it was a bit too warm to start a fire. We look forward to using this feature on our next visit.5)The covered porch.a.We ate dinner on the porch each night to breathe in the stunning view and watch the local birds fly closely around us6)The attentive, friendly hosts"

Secluded Stargazing Mecca Near Cave Creek Canyon

Secluded Stargazing Mecca Near Cave Creek Canyon

10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The property is excellent in all ways - everything was spotless, the living quarters and kitchen very spacious, the bedrooms perfect with very comfortable beds, and the bathrooms very good. The check-in process was seamless, communication with the host excellent, and there was a lot of information material on the area available. We especially enjoyed the quiet and fairly remote area - the dark night sky was breathtaking, and there were lots of birds on the property, perfect for us birders. We highly recommend this property and hope we can come back."
